KIDS COME AND JOIN IN ON THE BUG AND CRITTER CAMP:
Junior Bug & Critter Camp (6-9 yrs of age) – July 16 and 17
Cost $25 per camp
9 am – 4pm, bring a sack lunch and snacks to be provided.
It is encouraged that students enter Junior Bug & Critter Camp prior to entering Advanced Bug & Critter Camp, if it is their first year in Bug & Critter Camp. Those who have been in Junior Bug Camp and Advanced Bug Camp in previous years will not have to.
It is also suggested that students entering Advanced Bug & Critter Camp obtain a collecting kit. Students who attended last year are advised to bring their kits again this year. Junior Bug and Critter camp students will be provided with a net and collecting supplies.
The kit that we will be using is Entomology Lab ™ Deluxe Insect Collecting Kit with Student Net (EL201)can be found at http://educationalscience.com/merchant.ihtml?pid=3129&step=4&merchantid=4 or other entomological sites. If the student cannot obtain a kit, we will have the fundamental supplies for our activities.
There will be a field trip to the Butterfly Rainforest in Gainesville on July 20 for Advanced Bug & Critter camp students.
